Effects of Accountability on Public Policy Implementation in Marsabit County Government

Socioeconomic development metrics such as economic growth rates, unemployment levels, corruption and poverty rates in Kenya do not correlate with the country's comprehensive policy framework. It seems that design execution aren't going hand hand. This has been evidenced counties report given by controller of budgets continued impeachments county governors due to poor governance cited various assemblies. study assessed effects accountability on implementation public Marsabit County, Kenya. The adopted a descriptive research which helped describe County. targeted 69158 respondents from urban centres County sample size 384 selected using stratification simple random sampling data collect used questionnaire instrument. were coded analyzed SSP.
